SINP: Family Members Category

Hello, world! Decided to create this topic, so everyone who has applied/will be applying for SINP under Family Members Category could share their experiences.
So, my name is Andrew, I'm from Kiev, Ukraine, 23 years old. My wife's family moved to Regina 2 years ago. They have recieved their PR cards last summer, so we decided to apply under SINP Family Members Category. We applied online(I was a primary applicant) on the 23rd of August, 2010. I have both job offer from and Confirmation of ENGLISH/FRENCH language ability from Canadian employer. They received our application in 2 weeks as I believe. So, 3 month have passed, all we have is "Application Received" in Application Status column. I heard, that online applications recieve Nominations quicker than others, but has no confirmation right now. Maybe, someone who applied online could share their info about it?

Hi there, i was also thinking of how to check our SINP application status (Family Category as well). My uncle who's working and living in Saskatchewan with his family, gave our documents directly at the SINP office last September 2010. And all we have as of now is the "Application Received" status. Is there anyway we could check our status "online". We are currently residing in the Philippines. Thanks.

hi i'm also from the philippines, we submitted our application under sinp family stream last feb 4, 2011 and my sponsor(1st cousin) received an acknowledgement receipt thru regular mail at the same time requesting for our email address(mine and my cousin's email address). the instruction says to email their request at sinpadmin @ gov.sk.ca.when we emailed it this was their response:
   Thank you for updating your email address information for your Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) file.

This is an automated response to let you know we have received your information; you will not receive a response from this mail box. If you have any questions or concerns, please write to immigration @ gov.sk.ca.

Thank you for your interest in the SINP.

hi guys. can anyone give me ideas on the processing time of the sinp?my husband was applied under sinp by his employer july 2010.he received the certificate of nomination december 2010. his representative submitted the original documents to buffalo, usa together with the federal fees. (family included in the nomination). what would be the next step that he has to do and the fees that he still need to pay. when are we expecting the request for medical. we don't have ready money for the whole processing so we need your help for us to be prepared. thanks everyone

we got a letter from SINP pero we need to send additional documents. After that wait ulit.

xsoulwinx..up to now wala pa update..last feb 8, 2011 ako nakareceive ng letter from them requesting for addtional information lang ang kailangan..ang sabi email lang daw so we emailed it the day after they requested..as of now wala pa update..i think around 8 to 10 months ang labas ng sinp nomination certificate..will update as soon as may feedback na.. again goodluck..

..wow thank god..at least half step ahead ka na...it took 11 months bago mo narecieve..through email ba?...please keep us posted para maenlighten naman ang waiting period natin lahat...congrats

Hi Bongski, This is Lyn. Filipino din ako ;-) gusto ko rin mag apply under SINP kaso wala akong employment offer at relatives sa Saskat. Do you have any idea kung qualified pa ako? Or do you know anyone that could assist me? Any input is greatly appreciated.

hi Lyn...under family stream kasi ako...sponsor from my cousin in saskatchewan...i don't know kung open pa under skilled worker ang nurse...search to this forum under skilled worker..i think nag open sila ng slot under nurses last july..hindi ko lang alam kung open pa..if you have a relative or friends in manitoba dun mas maluwag sila you can apply for provincial nominee..goodluck sa yo

Thank you. nag call yung SINP dun sa kamag anak namin doon at sa email din sila. Na forward na ng SINP yung certificate of nomination natin sa CIC manila. Sana makuha nyo na rin yung sa inyo. God bless.

It's a good thing that i visited this site. I'm also sponsoring my brother from Philippines. I submitted his papers last year Sept 2010 and i received an email from immigration for additional documents twice (June and Aug) and now we're still waiting....

Where can we check the status of the application(if possible)?? 'Coz i tried on ecas but the file number that i received doesn't work...
