Okay, I am just wondering...

I am living in Canada and was nominated by the Province of Saskatchewan, and I sent my application for Permanent Residence to Buffalo, New York on 28th February 2011 so I would consider that it was sent at the beginning March.
And now I still have not hear anything from the Canadian Consulate General in Buffalo about the status of my application. So I am asking people who sent there Provincial Nominee applications for Permanent Residence to Buffalo in March, have any of you heard anything from that office yet? Any updates, AORs or Medical Check-up letters?

I am not asking just people who applied for Saskatchewan but also people who applied for the other Provinces.

And also please advice me if I should send them an e-mail asking about my application or if I should just be patient and not take any action yet.

Thanks for your replies!

It will take 7 months to get any response from Buffalo officially.. But recently they spped up the process its getting in 6 months.. My application recieve3d in Buffalo on jan 28 and I recieved my AOR in jul 25 and my medicals in Aug 4... So hopefully yours end of this month.. Well in betweek u can check in ur bank to see if your draft is cashed and when, to make sure they recieved ur application..So keep loking ur spam folder in your email from now on..AOR normally comes in junk folder..

Okay thanks SINPGUY. I will just be patient but I hope that they send me something in the mail soon. And yeah I did check at the bank a few weeks ago to see if my money order had been cashed and I was told that it had.

 @  Sask28

I was nominated by Sask. too and had submitted my federal application just around that time (March 2/3'11). I haven't yet received any updates, but i found out that my bank draft ($550) was cashed in april'11, so i am guessing i can get my AOR/Request for medicals pretty soon (September). Hope this helps.
