Applied on May 2007 to Singapore.

Still "In process"!! It appears to me that, they are currently working on 2005 applications. 2 more years to go i guess.

Any more update from anyone?

Hi, no update so far.  submitted in Jan 2007.  Still "in process".

Yes i got the letter of option and i chose not to withdraw.

Looks like they are issuing visas for 2005 applicants now. One of my relative got visas just last month. he applied in 2005 June. I will be just happy to hear if any 2007 applicant recieved request for updated documents. Actaully we the applicants of 2007 went through Simplified process in contrast with applicant of 2005 and 2006 who had sent in application with all documents at the first time.

So i would assume that CIC atleast ask candidate with "Simplified" process to update the file rather early.

That is encouraging! I have applied on May 2007 and never heard back from them! I have been tempted quite a few times to withdraw my application and apply to Australian immigration which has much faster reponse system.

But never had done anything. Hope to hearing back for at least the document update soon.

It looks dim though that they will process 2007 application any earlier than at least another 1.5 years later (2010 later part).

What you guys think! any new update?
