When will i get Passport Request after Submitting RPRF + Medical At Singapore VISA office?

You should get it in about 4-6 weeks after submitting the fees and medical. If you are not living in Singapore add extra time for the mail service.

U have to be patient, seems from the numerous times u have been inquiring about the time to get yr passport request.

I have submitted my medicals, RPR fee and photos and police reports in Jan 2010 and also all necessary documents and i am still waiting for a reply. There are queues u have to wait, so just hang on and be patient about it. Your time will come and u will get yr passport request if everything is in order.

visa off. received my complete app. on 07/01/2010. three months already gone on yesterday but ecas still states RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE instead of In process.i sent an email to visa office and they replied YOUR APPLICATION IS CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW. what does it mean?

It looks like visa officers from CHC S'pore are busy in Bangladesh doing spot checks.
No wonder no movement in old simplified cases.

I just received my passport request today! So happy but i am outstationed now, so cant send passport in till 3 weeks later, seems like i have 60 days to send in the passport for visa stamp! Hope u get yrs soon too! Then we can meet in Canada, Calgary! Let me know when u get yrs!

Congratulations! It looks like yours is on schedule. Are you heading to Toronto or Calgary?

Did CIC notify you for your passport request via email or postal mail ? How are you going
to submit your passport? By courier from Shanghai to CHC S'pore? Or are you submitting
your passport by hand at CHC S'pore?

Mine is under the slow track system; just like watching my fingernails grow.

I have not decided yet but most likely, i will land in calgary first as i am more familiar with Calgary as u know, i used to live there.

CIC notify me to send in the passport via registered mail. I will send the mail in by courier, FEDEX to CHC, Singapore. No way to submit by hand, i think, cause i am in Shanghai and outstationed in Henan province for 3 weeks, so will need to wait till i get back Shanghai to courier it out.

Why is yrs so slow? i am kind of surprised that u sent in documents and reports way before me.

I had to request for US FBI report, 2 state police reports from US, HK police report, China notary no criminal record, Singapore report and also RCMP report. It almost drove me crazy running around from SG to HK to China and sending so much stuff around half the globe!

Really hope u get yours fast!

Mine is under the old simplified system(before Feb 2008)

If I got passport request, I need to go back to S'pore to submit
my passport personally, and wait in S'pore to get my passport back.

Now I am living in HCMC under a renewable 3-month multiple trips
business visa. I can't risk the fact that CHC S'pore might be still
holding my passport when my Vietnam visa is expired.

Do u know how fast can we get back our passports if we hand in personally in Singapore? I would also like to hand in personally if i can, cause i am planning to return to SG if i could.

Where do u plan to land? Calgary too? I am planning to go perhaps in June or July period.

According to trackitt.com, I noticed the average time required from submitting to getting the passport back is about one month. But, there are cases more than one month; someone even claimed
eight months(which I find it unbelievable).

My intended destination is Calgary, with Vancouver and Toronto
as alternatives. I have until October 2010 to make my first landing; that is if everything goes according to schedule.
