Hi BDSkilled, On 05 January 2010,the status changed to In process....and we received the request for medicals ,PP etc on 06 Jan 10..... |

does anyone know how much time are we given to enter canada once we get the passports stamped with the PR visa? or what is the latest time given to enter before expiry of the PR visa?

Hi abelkwh,
My understanding is that your PR visa is valid for one year with effect
from the date of your medicals. For example, if you did your medicals in October 2009,
you have until October 2010 to make your first landing.

Hi BDSkilled, I think it will be changed to In Process only when they have actually finished reviewing and going to send out the AOR,medicals etc....ours took around a month too,due to Christmas,New year etc....CNY is going to delay it a bit more....hope u ll hear from them soon!!! |

Hi BDSkilled, m not so sure abt dat as v didnt receive any AOR right after submission... instead received e whole package of AOR,medicals & PPR..... As per the CIC website,after they have sent AOR the status should be changed to In Process....may be soon it ll change.... cheers Gemz |
