What makes you two so impatient? Canada is reeling with its economy and crisis in employment rate, ordinary Canadians are not being able to get jobs. People have been waiting for 4-6 years now with their applications.

No ...i never send any inquiry mail to Singapore VO. Have u? or anyone here send inquiry mail? what is the address?? i spend already 1 year in total .....but even now waiting waiting waiting.......   Neither did I ! As per Mr Qorax's comment, generally we are supposed to receive Medical Requests after 4~6 months from the 2nd AOR. Therefore, I think we'd better make an enquiry about our files' status, just to make sure that there was no loss in email or physical mail from VO (in case they have sent us MR or additional documents submission with a deadline, etc) But maybe 4~6 months is nearly impossible these days. We'd better in expect MR in 6~8 months, rather. |

Jnathan Can't agree more with you, but I can't help it being impatient. I sure know that the best policy in this PERMANENT PATIENCE GAME with CIC and VO is - Applying - Forgetting all about it - Praying (in the mean time) but the more I read posts and comments in this forum, the more I get tensed and impatient. Perhaps I should stop reading from this forum for a while. Good luck to all !!! |

@ jnathan You mean until status turns to IN PROCESS, there's no use in sending inquiries to VO. What if because of some system error (not so uncommon these days, I suppose) your status remains RBVO, in the mean time, VO had sent you a request for additional docs (or better yet, medical request). Unfortunately, the request mail is lost on its way of delivery and the request's deadline will pass without your knowledge about it. Therefore, to be on the safe side, we'd better enquire VO about our file's status (at least 6~7 months from the 2nd AOR) and not so often, for sure. What do you think?  |

I am pre 26 June applicant...is anyone here from pre 26 June who got change his status to "in Process" recently. very worried...its almost 6 months after send full documents but still status is "RBVO"   same to me.. no news at all.... regards nge |

Same here still RBVO 6 months and counting. Singapore VO got longer processing time from 10 months now up to 12 months. |
