My Visa office is Singapore.

I have sent my documents to Singapore Visa office for their examination during first week of may 2010. after checking on-line, i have come to know that the docs are received by the visa office. I presume they received the docs on 10 may 2010. Can any one advise, if everything turns out ok at visa officer's end, how long it takes to get the second letter?

thanks to you all for responses in advance.

If your E-cas showed docs RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE, it means they are pending review. Singapore office currently needs 6-8 months to send medical after it has received full docs. January 2010 full docs senders got their medical last month.

Whats your NOC, IELTS Score?

I applied under Finance Manager Category. And the IELTS score is 7.5, meeting all the individual band score requirement

wait for 6-8 months for medical from the date of 2nd AOR.

Singapore office has sent lots of medicals to applicants prior to 2008 till 2004.

Jnathan,

Thanks a lot for your answer. But waiting is very painful.
I ovserved few timelines where they got their medical in 3/4 months. Is it depends on the noc or any other factor.

Waiting for kind reply.

depends mostly on the dealing visa officer. Your colleague working with you having the same duties is certainly not equal in working quality as you are, he is either slower or faster than you. I asked idas about why he got his medical in 3.5 months, he said that it was the faster attitude of that visa officer who dealt his full docs in CHC Singapore.

More applications from some particular NOC's (such as IT manager, Business manager, Teachers) have also made the delay. then there are applicants' travel records verification, their police verification response from Dhk Metro Police office, response from Foreign ministry of Dhaka, putting everyday info to CIC's system make the delays.

so the remedy for us is to wait.

Ok let mean assist in explaining case by case. It simple means on individual file. So it all depends on your file the way it is presented and organized. For example if i send my file with IELTS and you send yours with an explanation of your English proficiency those are two different cases, also including the way your file is composed.

Hope it helps.
