Hi Vansask, I actually just submitted our passports this morning as we were traveling last week. Visa Office issued me a receipt and they will call my mobile when we can collect our passports.
Hi Garu - MR was sent via post only, no email. But this may be because I'm currently living in Singapore.

i far as i know, when receive MR and other docs request, you will have 3 months, otherwise, have to contact VO and let them know the reason for extending the deadline. Dear n1x_r,

Thanks CRS. I was given 60 days to do the medicals. This was no problem since I am currently living in Singapore. They may give a longer deadline for applicants not residing in Singapore.

I dont think that should be a problem at all. just keep all records of your funds (statement) then show VO if asked. Usually, Vo will sometime ask for last 6 months statement together with MR, as long as the amount is unchanged, you should not worry, if the amount changed, and they ask for statement when sending MR, you should explain ... it's complicated. My friends took out the money and invest , it's not required you always keep in in bank account as long it's your real money, and you have strong evidence to prove it's yours, where it goes etc... |
