Does anybody have any update from parent sponsorship application. Singapore have received my parents PR application in Sept,2008 and since then no update. Does anybody have gone further than my level recently?If yes, what's the next step?

Hello zzz, The embassy sent us a letter that outlined four options for getting the passport to them. First option they suggested was regular mail, registered and to include a self-addressed return envelope, the second option was to use a courier service and they warned about pre-paying to have the passport returned,the third option was to hand deliver it but they warned that it takes two to three days to wait to get it back (and Singapore prices for hotel and food is crazy expensive for a Thai salary  ) and the fourth option were instructions if you are a Singapore resident. We are going to go with the first option, because we aren't super rushing to get home. We are trying ot stay here as long as we can in order to finish our contracts with the school cause this school (compared to the others) has been so good to us, so we don't want to screw them. |

I am sending more proof ( Skype calling and chatting record for 1 year, pics of different tour in BD with proper explanation, fb msgs for more than 1 year) along with the Receipt of PR payment.
I am sending my Official Payment Receipt of PR to Missisauga and Singapore as well.. I hope this will help VO to process our application smoothly.

Singapore started processing my wife's application on 31st august 2010. I have already provided Med, Police cert and Landing fee to expedite the application. let's hope for the best.

Hi, My status on ecas was chnage to Medical results have been received for a week, and processing on Sep,13 from Thailand and I have some friends who process on Sep, they all got letter before me already because SIN send it to Thailand but for me I changed my address to Canada because I'v been here for over a month. you all will next.. |

Nice Love Thai...You are one lucky person...your application got approved within 2 months. I would assume your case was really straight forward and not many people applying from Thailand....

I am sending more proof to Singapore tomorrow with that PR receipt hope that will be alright. I thought my application is straight forward with no military background, no child, never lived abroad. |

Hey Sadatul,
Proof of relationship - 40 Wedding/Honeymoon/Family pictures, Chat logs, Phone bills, FB Mgs, Honeymoon ticket/hotel booking, Other trips ticket/hotel booking, Copy of passport pages with Visa showing traveling together (same day exit/entry stamp, consecutive Visa number).
But do you need to prove your relationship again to CIC - Singapore? I thought CIC-M approved me as a sponsor after scrutinizing proof of relationship.
