u mean same as mine today? or it happened to you last time..
No, not today. Actually, it happened to me couple of times before. Sometimes the address appeared and after a few days, it disappear again. May be it does not have any relation to updating file (or may not be !). But, it is obvious that, they are logging into/ seeing your file while you see a change in address or anything in ecas. Because, someone has to make this change, right? there are millions of application. Why should they bother to change your ecas status (address show or anything else) if they don't have any need here now? This is just my opinion. And, I think it's logical. Best Regards.

My husband's address was disappeared from jan 27, 2012. Now ecas shows the address. But no status change. It's In process .
My address was also disappeared (can't remember the day though). But, it appeared a week ago again, after I submitted the passport to CIC. There is no status change in my case as well. It's in process from February, 16, 2012 ! From when (the date) your husband's address is showing again? I think, he will get a Passport Request very soon INSHAALLAH Don't worry at all

a good short story...
Good Luck, Bad Luck, We'll See... There once was a Taoist farmer. One day the Taoist farmer's only horse broke out of the corral and ran away. The farmer's neighbors, all hearing of the horse running away, came to the Taoist farmer's house to view the corral. As they stood there, the neighbors all said, “Oh what bad luck!” The farmer replied, “Good luck, bad luck, we'll see.” About a week later, the horse returned, bringing with it a whole herd of wild horses, which the Taoist farmer and his son quickly corralled. The neighbors, hearing of the corralling of the horses, came to see for themselves. As they stood there looking at the corral filled with horses, the neighbors said, “Oh what good luck!” The farmer replied, “Good luck, bad luck, we'll see.” A couple of weeks later, the Taoist farmer's son's leg was badly broken when he was thrown from a horse he was trying to break. A few days later the broken leg became infected and the son became delirious with fever. The neighbors, all hearing of the incident, came to see the son. As they stood there, the neighbors said, “Oh what bad luck!” The farmer replied, “Good luck, bad luck, we'll see.” At that same time in China, there was a war going on between two rival warlords. The warlord of the Taoist farmer's village was involved in this war. In need of more soldiers, he sent one of his captains to the village to conscript young men to fight in the war. When the captain came to take the Taoist farmer's son he found a young man with a broken leg who was delirious with fever. Knowing there was no way the son could fight, the captain left him there. A few days later, the son's fever broke. The neighbors, hearing of the son's not being taken to fight in the war and of his return to good health, all came to see him. As they stood there, each one said, “Oh what good luck!” The farmer replied, “Good luck, bad luck, we'll see.”

when did you last time order it? Experts say better to wait for 5-6 months from the previous order. Well, if you order it now then you "might" get to know the reason for calling you to an interview.

I already know the reason of the interview as per the previous gcms i ordered. i received it in march, i think i should not bother ordering again and just wait since nothing new hapenned since then. Am gonna wait 5more months probably will receive news at that time, a lots of applicant received the second letter in exactly one year after receiving first interview letter from other country dealing with singapore. Hoping everything will be completed by then, monday will find out if i am expecting so i might soon let them know that, dont know if its gonna make any difference though. I feel like sending addditional proofs but it state not to send anything on the letter.

bdlugger, bloomfield paid to FedEx and got their passports. flip back to this thread posts you'll get their posts. God knows why you did not pay them in advance . No worries, you will get yours as you did.
Hi all, I actually decided to go with the registered as I had nothing but vague answers from these courier cimpanies in BD. Singapore mailed the passport on May 25, 2012 as per the e-mail communication, however I have not receieved the passport yet. A bit worried, it's been more than two weeks. Don't know how much longer it is going to take. E-mailed Singapore asking for the tracking no. for the registered mail, waiting for a response, apparently it may take 28 days for them to answer my query .

When Singapore sent me PPR letter on April 13, I got that on 7th May :| 24 days to get a letter/registered mail ! Can you please tell me, after how many days of your passport sending to Singapore, they sent you that standard notification email that your passport is ready? Did they communicate with you by email before? or, all the communications was by registered mail? Do they send this notification email to everyone of similar case? I have also submitted my passport but did not get any email from them. That's why a bit tensed Please let me know these things. I hope and pray that you will get your passport soon. Regards.

Just have a look in the GPO and you might get it there. You could search it even without a tracking no. Just pretend with them as you're a policeman believe me it works
