Has anyone here applied for CAIPS notes? I'm going to apply for CAIPS notes and wondering if I can sign the application form or if I need my wife to sign it. Thanks.

Amy is right, your wife has to sign her part and you can just scan it and she can scan back to you,it doesnt need to be the original signature unless yours.

Yes you could also fax it XD. hey i have a question. Did your MP just tell you your interview gonna be anytime in 2013 or january 2013? if so mine might be around the same time or earlier hopefully:P i am still waiting to hear confirmation about where the interview gonna be for bangladeshis..

The MPs assistant called me and said that the interview won't take place until, at least, January 2013. I said, "So does that mean that her interview will be in Jan 2013"? She replied, 'no, the interview will happen sometime in 2013. January at the earliest.'

 

I do think that over the past few weeks I have went from my denial/anger stage to my acceptance/depressed stage.lol Already planning another trip in the fall (where we will try to have a baby) and that helps to keep things happy. Relatively.

I am not sure but it could be that Singapore VO does interview schedule once per year. Maybe for that reason MP told you no interview until 2013 and in interview  letter they told already could be up to 24 months.
Other reason too, My three friends they were wait for interview and they got interview letter same time one month before and after. But two of my friends get interview schedule last Feb and other one is till waiting for interview schedule and  @ shiny88 also is waiting for interview for her husband and they are all from same timeline.
So next interview schedule could take Jan-Feb 2013.
I was lucky , escaped from interview pawn.
Waiting is a big and it kills inside. I wish you good luck to all. I saw Singapore VO is focus more on skill worker and less family class cases. More work load for them and more delay. Only you can do  , which one comes to your mind.

It's really nice to see you here after completing your wife's processing. My file is still "In process" from April 10, 2012. Yesterday my address came back in ecas. It was disappear from jan 27. As you were a regular member of this forum, could you please give me any idea about how long it may take to get PPR? My life just stops for this immigration. can't take any decission.

hollysh lol anytime in 2013:( am loosing hope,or lets say i lost long ago, but now that i came back from backhome i dont feel that bad but still when i think about all this time of waiting i feel horrible. my husbands family already thinking he wont be able to come to me,better i go live there:S which is almost imposible for me. well i just came from doc, going to get bloodtest tomorrow lets see if theres any baby sign on my blood...how long ur planning to stay?

Only you can know by CAIPS notes if they do background check or not. For my wife it takes 30 days to get PPR after goes in process. Normally it takes 30-45 days to receive PPR from Singapore VO unless they ask for new document. calvinh file was in process about 4 months,for him SIG Vo asks FBI report. You may send an e-mail to Singapore ask if they send any thing to your husband.
Today's date Singapore VO is more slower and slower. One of my friend wife submitted passport at CHC Dhaka already close to 3 months no response from Singapore and no reply from them. Normally it takes 4-6 weeks max. Fed gov is cutting budget.

Thanks Mirjahan. My husband sent an email one week ago but no reply. I applied for CAIPS. Let see what happens. I am also wondering why they didn't ask for any documents. Their medical will expire on September 4. I wish I get something from Singapore within this month.

Planning to stay 3 weeks.

I hope your test is positive Shiny. A baby between the 2 of you has to help for evidence. You would be lucky too as you would get to have your baby in Canada. My wife will have to have ours in Cambodia. Kinda spooks me.lol

ok i am trying to understand this quote:•New powers allowing the Citizenship and Immigration Minister to reject an applicant to Canada who has already been deemed admissible by immigration officers, set limits on what types of immigrants can have their applications processed each year, and require that ineligible persons applying for residence on humanitarian grounds to already be in Canada when they apply.
does it mean if someone has applied for tvr,student,skilled before their pr  application can be rejected as a pr without reason then??wtf is all this!!
instead of playing game they should just ban that people marry overseas thats it!!!!!!but those who are waiting should be able to have their process done for heaven sake:S

Yes but then i wont be able to work n have money probem plus no husband.. but if i am i will take the consequences tho before going get to know if you are going around the time she has most chance of being prego. so youll have more chance you know
