I am from Bangladesh and my mother is waiting for PPR as a part of parent sponsorship. We are expecting to get the PPR anytime.
Question: She has the handwritten passport which is valid for another year. Does she need machine readable passport to get Visa?

It seems they are hoping that our relationships will end and we will withdraw our applications.
Going back to see my wife in 3 weeks. Going to bring over more evidence(phone card reciepts, western union reciepts..) for the interview, if it ever comes.

Exactly you are right! and they made us spend money for the whoe thing!. I am also going fr the same reason but also to be with my hubby after a long long time. I gotta wait 7weeks:( and going for like 18days ........hope ill be in bd when he will have hsi interview. please god...  |

I know I can not leave Canada as I am a PR but short visit is allowed. But I am getting crazy thinking about this immigration process. My son is not doing well also. Most of the time he is sick. So I decided to go and stay for three months. I know it's a risk. Pray for me so that CIC doen't find me out.
Hi friend,first of all i hope your son gets better, i know how hard its for him not to have his father around.But don't risk big, if i were you i would call CIC and ask them if you could go as your son is sick atleast ask if u can go for 3weeks. You dont wanna have the app cancelled or have trouble with the law. Please dont risk something you gonna regret. I wish you the best of luck, and everything gOES all right.make sure u take proper info before. |

I dont know much about it but i would say that she doesnt need machine readable passport. |

No reply from singapore. I sent them a general inquary but not the case specific inquary. I know they will not reply and I even don't expect from them. You know I am so fade up sometimes I miss those mosquitoes in Dhaka  . Enjoy as much as you can...All the best |

I thought PPR is within three months of Medical. Why they took too long for your case? I sponsor in Sept, 2007, File just transfer to Singapore in Jan 2012.God knows How long they will take.please share your experience with CHC Singapore. |

No, so you mean you received the acknowledgment letter of your application twice from Missisauga one in Dec one in March? thats weird, But atleast SG has your file with them right?it might be an error or something, why dont you call CIC and ask them why you received twice. |
