yap, I understand your condition.12 months checking ecas and no change.. My case will be longer. My husband was in bangladesh Navy.I heard that for them the security clearenc takes time... I wish u get the interview letter as soon as possible inshallah.. Pray for me too

Your husband was in military service. For them they do background check . Which takes 6-9 months . Some time they do not check background only criminality check.

I checked my ecas every day since i send my application. I am on last step, more day gone i feel more anxiety.

Why i said 6 months minimum, because where i work there we need clearency   from transport Canada to get restrict pass. For mine took 1 month and my colleague took 8 months to get that restrict pass. He served for military service.  Good luck and pray for me for last step.

If anyone who applied for Caips, i would really appreciate your help. I ordered by a third party before and i didnt get my file. Now i want to apply to Ottawa.

as i know if you ask for application status they will not reply your e-mail. But could be best of luck.

My friend wife did not receive interview letter. It was e-mail to my friend e-mail on Feb 13,2012.
So you might get e-mail too. I wish you good luck. I am still stuck at last stage hope soon all will be alight. Better order for GCMS notes so you can prepare better . I told my friend to request GCMS before leave for Bangladesh but he did not. His wife is giving SSC exam 2012, time is very tight and no preparation. He did not know until i told him that interview is scheduled. He did not check his e-mail since he is in Bangladesh. I will tell you which question they asked to her.
For you start preparation now.
I can't wait to go see my wife get visa but no visa yet

hey, oh interesting, they sent email to the sponsor(which is your friend) right? now ill check my email very often, but what i didnt know is that they show on ecas about which date the interview is fixed. So that means even if they sent letter and it get lost we still can see on ecas if they scheduled interview. So one tension less for me. YAY! About your wife, you should not worry much, interview is waived so it may take time to get passport back with visa but she is getting visa for sure,u know if her medical is not expired everything will be allright and less time to wait. You will see you will get your wife way before me lol well beside me going to visit him in May. I wish your wife get the passport and visa stamped early march,Hope the best best for you! By the way friday i will send my application for caips, i just wonder if its better to fax them or emailing them instead of sending by mail(it will take longer to reach ottawa). Thanks and let us know how your friend's wife did on her interview!

Hi, I am currently sponsoring my wife and transfering citizenship for my vietnamese born son. Singapore has got my wife's application in March,17 2011. and says in process. In Jujly 2011 they asked for additional information regarding my son and I sent them what I had. Now my wife is 4 months pregnant. Hoping if that would delay things further. If her application is finished before she gives birth, that means she can fly to canada and give birht there right? Son's canadian citizenship and passport are done and he is ready to go, just my wife now. And I am currently in Vietnam waiting because I have a feeling application is almost done and we can go over as a family.
