My friend received interview letter Oct 2011
His wife address was disappeared Jan 27 2012 still missing
Today ECAS update Interview scheduled for February 29, 2012.

I hope check your ECAS see if any change

I got interview letter in october, still application recieved. NO Change, atleast some people are receiving letter  with same timeline, so we can hope something will happen soon. Again we can just hope.

I sent an e-mail to Singapore on November 7, 2011 and on that same day they sent a letter saying we are in queue for an interview. So, if they are doing October letters then hopefully November interviews should be March or April. These VOs are very bias based on my CAIP notes and I know for sure it is not first in first out as they say it is.

My wife did are second medical but she said it was more intense this time. Is it like this for the second one? We will submit the passport soon as per instructions that came with the letter.

Do you see medical result on your eCAS? Did you submit passport? What did you submit to Singapore VO? And what is your current ECAS status? Is your wife address show?

Hey lifer i read your post and and have some questions for u! Did u read the letters and what did they require? Did she submit her passport? U need to look at that stuff asap! Ur wife might missed something or its cuz ur using the mail service and requested it this way to come back to you! Which using the mail service and having it come this way could take couple of months.My wife had 3 options 2 of them applying to her, as i stating in another post. My wife is doing her remed then she has to wait 2 weeks before submitting her passport and info the require, and it listed 3 options and were choosing option 3 to submit in person, this is the fastest option but costly since we both have to fly to singapore but its worth it after this long wait! Review your stuff and post back!

-They asked us for re-med, new immigration photos, and a letter of permission from her son's biological father saying it's OK for us to move him out of Thailand.
-They did not ask for my wife & stepson's passports.
-We sent our documents via the postal service
-Nothing at all has changed on ECAS, it still says 'in Process' and lists our address (which btw is our old address from 1.5 years ago, I sent several emails explaining that we've moved and we eventually got the letter requesting the new information, delivered to our new home... but ECAS still lists the old address). ECAS does not say that the medical results have been received.

i got my interview list letter at sep2011, just chk still showing same as may2011 - Application Received - NO Change

My medical report going to expired march fast week so im sending a email to VISA office singapore i will ask if i can do medical again befor they ask by letter to do it, its will save my time and i alredy pay landing fee and everything

My medical report going to expired fast week march 2012, i am realy worried about my processing delay.
    I wanna know if i have to do the medicel again ? if i have to do again! can i do the medical again befor i get official letter fom VISA office  Singapore ? or i have to wait till i got official letter ? (i alredy pay landing fee for save my processing time)

Since my application approved fom CPC mississauga and send to VISA office Singapore May 2011
    i am Checking the Online Application Status showing application received,
    I got acknowledgement letter sep 2011 saying i am in interview list its almost seven months
    Still its showing application received, NO update 

I am realy worried about my processing at VISA office Singapore,
    im  sending  a email to 
    Minister of Citizenship and Immigration CANADA

Do not do medical by your self. Wait until Singapore request for medical.

hey i am in the same situation, its on application received since march2011 NO update at all, interview letter Received in OCTOBER2011. My husband medical is also expired since 2weeks . I've read so many places that we arent supposed to do remed until they ask for it.Its gonna make a lot of delay in future when they 'll ask to do remed and probably police clearance again.I also paid all full fees for the whole thing thinking it will take less time for the processing but i guess am wrong.... check out this wenbsite theres a lot of useful info             http://www.canadavisa.com/canadian-immigration-faq.html

 My husband told me when he went to apply in canadian embassy in Dhaka he had a chat(abt ppr) with the lady who takes the forms.. then when he went back few days after to get the result of the TVr  he had a serial number but the woman didnt call by the number they called by his name(not the other people).how she remember my husband by just seeing him and knowing thats his file? theres hundreds of people going there everyday?
Why you think she kept some of the papers? Did they keep to bring the subject on his interview? (also my husband asked the lady, how long he had to wait for the interview letter) she said the best thing to do is to wait until he gets the letter or to email singapore(which she said not to). Any idea?

They will bring that issue at the interview.
