I did not send skype chat log. I send skype video screen short. I think copy past chat log is not a good idea. Take screen shot from skype it is better. SMS log you can find your monthly phone bill statement or online. Always better take picture with family and relative.

Hello all,

I hope someone can help steer me in the right direction with my case:

I am a dual national US (by birth)/Canadian (naturalized) citizen.
My fiance is a PRC citizen/Singapore PR for 12+ years (chose not to lose her PRC passport in exchange for Sing. passport so stayed PR) and holds a multiple-entry visa for Canada.

We plan on registering our marriage in April in Toronto. No big wedding till later in June in Toronto and a main wedding in China later in the fall.

How is the best course of action for the most speedy processing of her PR sponsorship given:

A) She can enter Canada and stay here for at least 6 months to 1 year on her multiple visa. (presumably longer once the PR application is in process if we choose to go the way of applying with-in Canada)
B) She is a Singapore PR and hence can stay in Singapore.
C) She holds a PRC passport and well, China is 'home country'.

To be more clear, where is the best place to send the application to given CIC processing times right now state:

A) From inside Canada processing time is 18-20 months.
B) Singapore is a whopping 22 months!
C) Beijing is a mere 5 months.

Can we actually put her residence down as China using her parents address (and where her Chinese ID says she resides anyway) and that way have CIC process her case in Beijing instead of Singapore or from whit-in Canada?

I think our case is very slam dunk as we are from very racially different backgrounds and both are well educated professionals in our first marriages and in late 20s. We also have a very well documented relationship with multiple trips together and for her to Canada and myself to Singapore as well as lots of time spent with each other's families so not worried about interview etc. just wanna get it done ASAP so she can start the count down to Citizenship.

Much appreciated for all the insight and help that anyone can provide!

Regards.

it varies for many reasons. who knows, u might get ppr tomorrow... no body knows how they work... only god can help us. try not to think of this processing time. this will make your life harder. get yourself busy on something else. or learn something technical so u will get a job in canada when u get approved, life will be easier. if u and your spouse are ok with each other then nobody can stop, if u r busy then time goes super fast. good things never comes easily. u gotta wait, after that u will find a happy life with your family. just few more days.

I'm thinking of going that route based on everything I've read. I think it's ridiculous that Singapore is taking 22 months to process! Fortunately we have the option of Beijing...

Hi stupidrim ,
I am willing to apply TRV for my wife,
One question: Did you submitted the Notice of Assessments ? For this year I have not yet filed a Tax form as I haven't received T4 from my company.
I would be very grateful to you if you can provide some tips and summary of your experience.

Br/

Rob, you call revenue Canada and ask for option C print out for Tax year 2010.And you need a employement letter form your company stating your duration of employement with the company, anual salary, full time. I hope it will help!
