I am happy to see that people are geting visa from singapore visa office. It means they are working hard. I am still waiting for the sponsorship approval. Long way to go.
If interview is needed than the procesing time will be more than two years. Is there anyone whose case are straight forward but still in a interview list?
I wish I get approved and my son and husband land within six months!!!!!!!! Smiley

Hello everyone here, Please help -

I have been asked to mail my passport to CIC singapore for my PR. They ask for me include large evelop so, they can send back my passport

     -  Do I need to include paid postage so they can return my passport back to me, or just a evelop (non paid)?

Thank you so much for all answer.

Hi, I was going through your timeline and was just wondering when you got your police certificate done? I was led to believe they had to request it before you could get it done so did they request it first or did you get it without a request?

Well, all we did just make sure all the documents needed were completed, organized and send it.
so yes...i got my police ceritificate done before i sent all the documents to CIC whether they ask or not, we just sent all documents.
Hope its clear...and We knew its been a miracle...because it only takes 3.5months for us...We're so blessed!

hey sunshine,

I am so surprised at how fast they approved your file.  could you please share your info with us and walk us through what you did for your application because that is amazing and probably a record for singapore processing time.

I am trying to order CAIPS notes but the IMM5563B (Access to information form) asked for a visa file number.  The only number i have is my client number and I do not think it is the same as a visa file number.  singapore never sent me any AOR letter or has answer my email requesting for my wife's file number.  Tried calling the singapore office but it was a huge fail.  their automated machine just hangs up on you.  I have no idea how to get a visa file number to fill out a CAIPS form.  I will try to call cic canada and tell you how it goes...

From what I understand the Canadian Landing Fee can be paid at any time prior to Singapore issuing the Visa.  It is refundable if the sponsored person is rejected.  The landing fee is 490.00 for persons over 21 and nil for dependent children under 21.
The question is to whom do I pay this?  Can I pay on line?  Do I just send a check to Singapore but my wife does not have file # yet.

Can anyone enlighten me about this

I have sent a case specific inquiry to Singapore requesting to know if they received the Quebec Selection Certificate. However when I entered the automate email address it entered Yahoo.com and I must change this to Yahoo.ca.  My wife's email also contains the two letters for Vietnam Yahoo.com.vn and I know she only entered Yahoo.com because I have copies of everything. I only noticed this after all documents were sent to CIC.  How can I change this. CIC has my correct email address because I received my approval letter through email at yahoo.ca

Any suggestions
