Such an inhuman process.
I know!!! I mailed my app in March 2010 to CPC-Miss and SG has had my Application since April 08, 2010. Status has never changed online. I was excited in the beggining because my app got sent to SG after only 1 month. Then got a letter for an interview and according to what i read here, im screwed. I saw some people get there PR even though they applied after me! WTF? Everyday i have to tell my wife "be strong, we will be together soon, This is the price we pay for being able to find and marry each other". But only works the first 100 times you say it....... |

My heart truly goes out to you and anyone else stuck in the queue for what seems like forever. I can only take hearing but this is how we weed out the cheaters so many times, because plenty of cheaters DO make it through and plenty of real couples either do not or are put through hell in the process... which from my POV is a pretty crappy process. |

Hmmmm,
Maybe the Singapore staff read the forums, because i got a call from my wife 3:00am telling me we got a letter informing us of our interview date.( May 9th) I thought I would post so others can gauge their wait times accordingly. The letter says the interview will take place in Ho Chi Minh City. My wife lives in Hai Phong in the North of Vietnam and I thought they would interview her in Hanoi, Which is only a 2 hour drive. Hopefully all goes well with the interview.

Hi guys! I emailed SPORE today about DNA dates and they responded and provided me the date. It's scheduled for may 27. It appears that SPORE is sending officers to do their rounds in May

hey solid, congrats. looks like ur almost done.
i have a similiar time lines as ur wife. my wife in saigon is still waiting for interview date, singapore started her file in march of 2010, and in june 2010 my wife got a letter saying shes on the interview list, untill now nothing yet. but happy to see that ur file is moving, hope mind is soon too.

Same here kitty - received on 14th nov and yet no feedback - did you get any response to you're email sent earlier -
Yes, I got one said" Mr XXX, This refers to your e-mail dated XX April 2011. Ms XXX's application is pending review by our visa officer. Please wait for our letter for further instructions. Thank you. and one thing that I don't understand is that one of my friends from Thailand who submitted the application later than me got more advance in her process like this"" We received XXX XXXX's application for permanent residence on January 6, 2011. We started processing XXX XXXX's application on February 15, 2011 but mine just said we received XXX's application for PR on November 12,2010. I wanna cry, why don't they processing the file based on first come first serve basis |

I wanna cry, why don't they processing the file based on first come first serve basis Dont be sad Bro! Maybe you wont need an interview at all! Then you will be smooth sailing fo sho! I got my letter for interview a month after SG recieved my app and then waited 1 year and some change just for the interview date. Look on the bright side for real, Calgary got dumped on with over 9 inches of snow, last night/today. BC probably sunny with no clouds  |
