what is the reason to close Visa Office, for budget cut?

Pretty sure it's budget, now Milan and Singapore will have even more processing time.

What about interview? Normally for Bangladesh people interview takes place in Dhaka Vo . They do everything expect immigration section.  Before it was to CHC Delhi after they changed to CHC Singapore. Now they closed  . From now on i think BD people need to send passport to CHC Singapore yaak

I guess they'll have to travel all the way to Singapore to attend the interviews.
The press release didnt reveal anything about this. its not clear yet what will happen to cases those require interviews. Many Temporary visas also require Interviews and god knows where they'll take those from now on. I'd not mind having my interview( if any whatsoever) in Singapore.

Wait for next statement regarding that issue. No clue why they closed all those Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Berlin,. It could be budget issue or less people apply those place. What they will do for current interview queue ? Could be waived? Maybe they will ask provide more or current on going supporting document.

Yes this news made me very upset but you could be right tho XD what if they waive the interview XD wow that would be the best thing that could ever happen!LOL or i wouldnt mind if its to send aditional document cuz this time i will send a private jet of proofs if i have to lol. I will send an email today @ singapore today,a very good idea. thanks

It might be,they might do interview and passort request stuff from the visa application center in chittagagong,sylhet. Do you know any country before this changehad to go to a neighbour country to do their interview?hmm i am gonna try to find out..but i dont think so..thanks

Anyone think that interview would be held in VFS from now on? as i know VFS office only for;student, work,travel,temporary resident visa application only.Because when we applied for Temporary resident visa we had the option to send the application to sylhet,chittagong or the high comission in dhaka, my husband went to dhaka instead...maybe maybe, cant wait for further notice... worried as hell..

thanks for the info, i am certain because of the closure, every application will be delayed for months.
They should have warned us earlier and give the complete details of everything before they close instead of putting their sudden change online and making people worried,some about their passport return,interview and all.. oh, anyways i am trying to temporary forget about this whole process and waiting..few days and i will be in heaven..in my husbands chest yay-me XD

They didnt tell how though but everyone assumed that they'd close some offices.

They are also saying that these closures will not delay the case processing times. let us wait and see what they do now.

yes hopefully there'll be no delay with the processing times.fingers crossed.how about your visa?never asked.. how long it takes for skilled worker to complete the processing?are you almost done with the waiting?

What I believe is that Outsourcing make things more easy for the outsourcing company but not for the customers as often companies outsource their support centers in India and Indians have the worst accent in English speaking. I still believe Canadians wont do anything stupid and always keep their services at the best although they are turning their strategy into something new.

But if the outsource company is dishonest ( which is very commonly practised in some countries including mine) we as a customer would be in a bad hand. I am also scared that if the interview also be done by this outsourcing company very few cases will be completed honestly. There could be huge favouritism issue involved. Today what Canada is facing from immigration is more like their fault. They have eased the immigration system for some wrong candidate,and today we all are facing the consequences. There was many cases shouldn't be approved but we have seen those candidate landed in Canada and we were shocked to see these people got through their background check safely   I think Canada should have some employee from each community to handle their community cases, because these people know their culture and community very well. It would have been hard for some candidate to go through our immigration system smoothly  and landed safely if was done this way. When few years back I have met some of those people and saw their act in Canada I knew right then Immigration did a huge mistake and we honest citizens have to pay for it. We are paying for it now.  Like Shiny , Amy ..so on we are suffering to bring our husband to us but we were not the one who did any harm to Canadian system. We rooted our life here as Canadian and supporting every way and feel as our home. BUT we are suffering for those people who took this immigration as their second card to scape from their country and do some business with this citizenship. keeping the tie with both country for only personal benefit not as a true citizen. The honest one like us paying for it
