Sure, why not? It couldn't hurt right. Me and my wife sent additional proof a while back before we got our first interview letter and they sent most of our original proof and additional proof back in the mail with the first interview letter. I'm not sure they even looked at the new stuff we submitted because it was all there when it was returned and at my wife's interview the officer acted as if he had never seen it before. So go ahead if you think your new proof could help with your case. Even if they don't look at it, its not like sending more proof is going to hurt your case.

Thanks Wiggie and hope your waiting will soon be over.

CHC Dhaka will give a photocopy of Appendix A after they receive passport. It will need to collect passport back unless they send a letter to collect passport.

Yesterday they returned original appendix A to me without making any photocopies. All they did was fill out all info at the bottom of Appendix A and returned it to me. They did not put any seal or signature. Thats why I am confused.

u need to put details of your spouse even if she/he is not accompanying u. i think u didnt fill that column up. or u can visit CHC dhaka to make things clear. good luck

I did not fill out spouse column as my spouse is the sponsor and residing in canada. They returned the original Appendix A to me and filled out info like file number and number of passports at the bottom. They did not keep a copy and there is no sign or seal on Appendix A which they returned. On CHC website it says they don't take inquiries in person and if you have any questions you should email. They have a webform for sending email but the link does not work. I am worried and confused now as what to do .

You do not need to fill out spouse column. Only fill out Applicant column then it is good. Make sure everything is correct and those info will be print on your Visa .On Appendix ask how you would like to receive your passport in person or by mail. And fill contac info. If they did not give you a photocopy they may send you a letter when passport is ready to collect.

Does anyone here know that if at my wifes interview she is allowed to bring her laptop to show evidence of her and my family/friends on facebook and our timing discussions on skype as well as mass pictures (as well as the printed pics she will bring)? My wife also has internet access to my email, facebook and banking information which should help as evidence.

I understand that computer or disks werent allowed in the application but just wondering about the interview.

Thanks.

I do not thinks so.And it is better not to bring it. Even if you bring a note book that will give negative impact. At interview schedule you will receive a letter what you need to bring at the interview.

I posted a bunch about it a while back so you can find those posts to know more about how the actual interview went. My wife's file has been in process for almost 7 weeks now and my MP got back to me about 2 weeks ago with more information about our case. She said that the interview went well and that our relationship was determined to be genuine and that currently background checks are ongoing. She also said that the next step would be the issuing of medical instructions. My wife's medicals will expire next week (the 26th) so hopefully we will receive the medical request shortly after that. I think that they may be waiting for them to expire anyway. Well hopefully all goes well and happens in good time.

Oh great to know that, yes i checked your earliest posts. Well atleast at the end its positive,i am happy for you.Hopefully you will get medical request soon.take care

Anyone from Vietnam have had their interviews yet? Got letter on November 7, 2011 and still waiting. A few people from other countries already had interviews, what is taking Singapore or this VO so long to schedule an interview.

Does anyone know how long after the file transferred to Singapore from CPC-M the address of principal applicant shows ?
When I login with the immigration file number it only shows
1. We received your application for PR
2. Medical Received

but no address of any sort.

How frequently you check the ecas status? Actually for my case I saw the principal applicant address only for two-weeks. After that my husband's address disappeared from Jan 27 to till now. It seems when singapore works on files, address disappears. So many people in this forum got update after disappearing their addresses. Right now my file is In Process. So may be you are lucky. They are working on your file. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I think that would be too optimistic. Probably they haven't even looked at it yet. I check it very frequently and the address never showed there from day 1 it got transferred to Singapore.

But I am almost certain they don't process it in a sequential manner.  Two of my friends got PPR this month

1st one had a processing time of 6 months at Singapore
2nd one had a processing time of 3 months at Singapore

they both got PPR within one week apart earlier this month.

any idea when the initial screening of the application happens after it gets transferred to Singapore ?

Thanks
