They started processing my wifes app on sept 8th.
My wife just told me that she received a call, asking her to redo her medicals (the one she already took will expire end of November 2011) and get her police certificates. I don't know what this means. Does it mean that things are getting closer to the finish line?

ah, nice to see they will call. I keep worrying that they might have sent mail and it didnt make it to my wife.

She was in canada with me at that time, and we had told the embassy in singapore that she is in canada. So they called my number in canada to talk to her. They actually called and asked her where to send the letter, and telling her that once she receives the letter she will have only 60 days to submit all the documents.

Hi Doan
I got PR request after seeing this line within 1-2 days. I think you should contact Singapore some how (email or phone) to ask about status. I know one case that got refused because of waiting too long. Singapore sent letter to request PP, but the wife never receive it (lost)  after waiting 3 months, the husband in Canada got a refused letter reason: they did not hand in PP on time.
In the PPR, they clearly said you need to hand in your PP within 60days after receiving this letter.

Goodluck.

Thanks for the advice TrungNgan.
For your PR request, did you or your spouse receive by email, mail, phone call?

I called the Singapore VO before and just now (Immigration Tel.: (65) 6854-5946 from the Website for the visa Office in Singapore) and each time I am only to be greeted by the machine and it hung up. Also sent them emails as well (from the same website) for more than 2 months already but haven't received any response yet (Sent them another one today too). I also orderred for the CAIPS and GCMS notes as well about 2 weeks ago and still waiting.

ah. I see. Thanks.

I think tomorrow I will e-mail them or get my MP to check in to see where we are.

You do not know how Singapore Vo works . They do not work on order.

You can not expect Singanpore Vo works order.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but has anyone here sent additional supporting documents to Singapore? I'm thinking of sending extra chat logs, copies of plane tickets, etc., as further proof that my wife and I are constantly in touch and that I've visited her again since we applied. Her ECAS is still stuck at "Application Received", and we haven't received any other word. Would there be any problem in submitting some extra evidence at this point? If not, is there a particular procedure for sending it over?
