Hi all,

I am flying in 2 weeks to Toronto (for the first time as immigrant).
I want to target a neighbourhood close enough to the administration where I will have to apply for:

- SIN card,
- Health card and
- PR card

can anyone tell me what is the best place to be?

The application process for the PR card is part of the landing procedure.  You will do this at the airport.

The application process for your SIN card can be done at any Service Canada office.

The application process for your OHIP card is done through ServiceOntario.  There is a three-month waiting period before you will be eligible for OHIP.

Yorks has provided the right answers. Those offices r pretty much everywhere, plus the Go Transit is so good that u can reach the nearest loc in a jiffy. Here's for Short-term stay [those guys'll help u as well]:

Hi Raj, for health card, you will have to wait for 3 months.
And for SIN card, you just need your COPR copy and orginal passport.

All the best.

Cheers...
