yes you can, as it will take a few months to hear first time from the sponsorship processing office.

i will take advantage of the priority processing for typhoon victims from the Philippines since our area back home was really affected by the calamity, i dont know how long it will take if our sponsorship will be approved.

This post is a bit dated but did you attach a barangay certification with your application? Were you able to send your application?
