Hi Does anybody nows how long does it take to the processes for the simplified application as a skill worker? I sent my application on January 2008; the embassy of Mexico sent me an e-mail on December 2009 telling me that I had 4 months to sent the rest of my documents to process my case. I sent them on March 2010 but I have not hear from them.
Anybody that have been on this situation?

7-10 months for 80% of the applications.  That is if you sent the application to CIO Sydney and then it was referred to Mexico City.  See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/menu-perm.asp

PMM, it's the simplified process which is very different from Fast-track.

Denis,
Why wasn't  your case transfered to Ottawa? there's a lot of people I know who got refered to Ottawa (simplified process) on March 2010 and they just got their med requests.

Email or try to reach the Mexico Embassy, or, you can get your CAIPS and see what's going on
