simplified application form

hi everyone im working in dubai,  but since im a malaysian im planning to put my papers through malaysia's  canadian consulate in malaysia.. is that ok? next  when i submit my initial application form do i have to also submit passport size photographs of all my dependent and spouse or only me or not at all. it doesnt mention anyway in the instruction  about this  things. plse guide me thank you.
