Signature noted on xpresspost?

Hello,

Just wondering for those who already mailed out their applications through xpresspost to Mississauga, did you notice a signature when tracking through Canada Post?

I saw a signature on mine, but not sure why as it was mailed to a P.O. Box.
The tracking says it was delivered (Jan 28), but CIC cannot find our package (they checked using our names and Canada Post tracking number).

P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga ON L5A 4N6

I had taken photos of the package, so this is the address that's shown on my photo

I sent to that address using Xpress Post and requested a signature, but never got a signature in the end. I queried this and they said that if you send it to a PO Box you wouldn't normally get a signature because they would just sign for all the mail in the PO Box together....not for individual packages....if that makes sense! But if you have a signature then surely they must have received it?!

Canada Post do deliver there, but courier deliveries are normally sent to:

i mailed my package on same address above in October and every thing is fine. My case is already transferred to local VO.

I mailed mine to that address too, then spent a few worried days because I thought afterwards about it being a PO box! I did get a signature though, "Domenic", and they got everything so it worked out fine. They must realize people are going to want proof of receipt!

That may well be the case.

If a signature is required, it is better to use the courier drop off address.

Mine was signed by 'Domenic' too!  This gives me some peace of mind...but still no word on our application.

Should I be worried because I don't have a signature? WTF. How do I know they have it? I wasn't worried before......

The Signature option should be selected at the time of shipping.
If you asked for it, then it should be found on a link on the tracking "we found" page. Click the signature name.

I didn't ask for a signature, but I sent it priority post I thought signatures were included in that. I'm just gonna believe its there. The tracking said it was delivered successfully at 9:53am last Wednesday... so fingers crossed.

If tracking says delivered, then it is.
Print the confirmation page and file it, just in case.
