How to get a Work Permit visa:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/work.asp1. You have to start by looking for prospective employers in Canada who will be willing to hire you based on your skills.
Begin by Internet search, networking, scheduling Interview etc.
2. Once your employer is satisfied he will offer you job and you can apply for Work Permit from your country or at Canadian border.
Since you will be hired under the "Temporary Foreign Worker" category, your employer has to prove that there are NO citizen/ PR holders available for the job. Thus he has to apply for "Labour Market Opinion" with HRSDC Canada which is a long drawn and tedious process.
3. So that you know in advance, currently Temporary foreign workers are eligible to work in Canada for a period of 4 yrs only and they have to return to their home country or any other place after that period. They can re enter Canada after a period of 4 yr.

In summary, your profession should be in the 29 Ministerial list;you should have had atleast 1 yr experience in that profession; you should have IELTS test results (English proficiency test); and you would qualify only if you have 67 points.
This year, the intake of applications per profession has changed and the quota is now at 500/profession. The quota is fast filling up, so if you are eligible and have job duties that match your NOC (profession) then apply ASAP.
