Should we need to process CIC application for my daughter who is a US citizen?

Hello everyone,

Our applicaiton is submitted to CIC , buffalo. Its in the 2nd stage & the status is 'Received by Visa office'
We had our 2nd child on Sept 21st. She was born in US & is a US Citizen.

1. Do we need to include her in the CIC application process?
2. Cant she come with us to Canada with a US passport & we include her name later?

To question 1, l say yes.you need to inform cic of any additional family member.

1. Do we need to include her in the CIC application process? [ yes its mandatory, don't delay and act on it ]
2. Cant she come with us to Canada with a US passport & we include her name later? [ one can visit canada with US passport for some time and can not stay for long time, including your daughters name in later stage is very time consuming , betn there is no issues including her name now in your application]

Once I emailed to Buffalo to know how to add new born baby. I am pasting below for your information. I hope you will get some info.


Please include the fee for your newborn son/daughter when you submit your application in Buffalo. He will be added to the file here.
