I am already in the process of ielts preparation and gathering docs. A little confused at this stage as 30th Jun is nearing and probably after that new immigration year will start. Should i hope there wont be any big changes in next immigration year. If so, how about keeping my application just ready and slip in after 30th Jun. The NOC which suites me most has reached a cap right now and if i apply now i will have to compromise a bit (not much) on NOC, by choosing another one for which i am overqualified though job responsibilities match pretty much.  Please suggest the right course. Thanks

Dear Hasni,

As you said your NOC is full. And other option is risky.

So better to wait for couple of months & apply .

Regards,
Mayank

But then again - if you fulfil the lead statement and a substantial amount of duties of another NOC, and you have sufficient work experience evidence to prove it, then why not apply now?

Better than waiting until 1st July 2011, and both the NOCs might not be in the list anymore - then not only will you not be able to apply you will look a real banana for not applying now Smiley

If you really want to play safe, apply now AND apply again 1st July 2011 under a different NOC if your preferred NOC is still on the list! Smiley

The new NOC may be a different one, is it definite or a guess ! secondly if i apply now and my application becomes under process, would'nt launcing a second application at that stage would have an adverse impact on my first case.BTW is it ok if one keep launcing applications like this as far as he can afford the application fee !!

 @ Hasni,

You should apply ASAP as there is no garuntee that your NOC will be in the new list...
Plus if you fall under medical/managerial/teaching/engineering(i guess skill level 0,1,2) than it is likely that qualifiying points can be increased form 67 to someother figure....

Best of luck for your application...
Do it ASAP....

Make it now if possible. Nobody knows what kind of chages are going to happen in the next phase. There is no problem submitting another application under new catagory in the future. I highly reccoment you to apply now and be on the safer side.

Good Luck. Sans_May2010

CIC allows you to have parallel applications running at the same time. Once one of your applications gets to medicals stage they will probably ask you to cancel your other applications.
