Hello everybody!

I was issued immigration visa few days ago. I have received an envelope with bunch of papers with instructions and etc. On one paper it said that I should inform them (visa office) if my status has changed. I am planing to get married in coming weeks/months, but my future wife was not mentioned anywhere on either application (I am going thru Quebec Selected Worker). We had no money for both of us for immigration process, so, at the time being, we were thinking to break up maybe, tough time for two people in love. We have every proof that she is not getting married just because of my visa, we have pictures with dates taken almost 2 before my immigration plans, facebook chat history, badoo chat history.

What should we do?
Should I go to Canada to obtain my Permanent Residence status and then to get married or to get married first, inform immigration center and then go to Canada?

Thank you for answers!!!!

hi..buddy.. you can do both.. however better would be to land alone get your resident card and den go back and marry..

otherwise you can inform cic if you plan to marry before landing.. funds wouldn't be any issue coz u still can not take her to canada with you even if u marry her.. you have to sponsor her through a seperate application... but if you do not inform cic before landing then later on your sponsor application for her will get affected and cause problems... be careful..

hope it helps..

do landing formalities first, then return to marry her and file her sponsorship application.
