Im wanting to go to canada for the 2012/13 season, I have a couple of questions
I know for the visa application (which seems very long and complicated by the way!) that you need a police check and traffic history, now within the last  six months I have had 2 speeding fines, and just recently a negligent driving charge which will bring me up to the totoal of 13 demerit points and losing my licence. Currently I have not recieved that fine or notice but i know I will in the next few weeks. I plan on applying for getting the one point to still have my licence, but what im wondering should I apply for the police check now or wait until that is sorted out....and with all this will I even pass the police check to get a visa?
Also is it too late to even apply for one as I know they only give out a certain number a year. I am 29 and want to do it before Im 30 in feb.

Also on another note, out of big white, banff and whistler where is the best place to get work and live...

Any information would be apprciated
thank you!!!!
