Should I apply CAIPS now or wait for their reply first?

I have applied on 6 june 2010 with AEO.
I received 2nd AOR on 17 jan 2011.
From one year my e-status is just "received by visa office".
Yesterday I put case specific enquiry  to new delhi visa office.
How much time they take normaly to reply?
Should  I apply CAIPS now or wait for their reply first?

You will find thousands of applicants are in the same condition even applied 1/1.5 year before you!

Sorry dear, don't be disheartened. The pace is coming soon. Recently VO is asking applicants for file updates. Check your email regularly, hope you will get it soon.

As your case is like "Everybody's business is nobody's business", they are not prompt to reply. You can apply caips but just now I suggest you to wait till the email to receive. I am afraid your file (like all of us)could still be pending for review. Hope after the updates of our files, they will actually work on the files.
