As far as I have read over this forum, there are special treatment for the Iraq national people being sponsored, the immigration try to expedite their file because of the war and all what is going on in Iraq. Try ordering your CAIPS note, and see excatly where they are in the file. Take in consideration as well that the CIC has to contact Iraq, Syria and sweden in order to check on his background, and witch country like mine Lebanon, iraq, syria..it take time, because that not everything is computerized yet, employee a little bit lazy because of their low salary...this is why it take time.
