Deal All,

If you have ever been to any CIC Service center for any kind of transaction Please share your experience.

For Example, If someone went to Pick his new PR card
If someone went for his Citizenship approval
                                          OR
Any type of visit to facility

It will help other to prepare accordingly for their need.

Thanks in Advance for sharing your experience and useful information.

I applied for urgent processing with 730+ days physical presence (in last 5 years). My urgent processing took 2 weeks. Picked up card at local CIC office... no questions asked. CIC officer just checked drivers license and picture page of passport to make sure it is the same person. 5 minutes later I was outta there.

Question about delays in Picking up my card from CIC St. Clair

I was suppose to pickup my card this month but since I am travlling Alberta cant make it for few weeks? Is it possible to pickup card after few weeks?
How it will effect whole process??
Would they ask me too many questions?
My case is already Fishy and someone told me if you dont make it on your appointment day than they give you hard time? I understand I have 180 days to pickup and they will might questions about delays?
Anyone has an experience of visiting CIC for card pick after their Appointment day ?
Please guide.
Thanks in advance

I landed on 04 July 2011 but still waiting for my new PR card despite CIC claims it takes about 46 business days.
I'm quite worried about this.  Sad

Here is my Experience at St. Clair

They refused to give me my PR card and asked me that I will be getting a letter for an Interview.
First Question: When was the last time you were out of canada. I replied March and still outside working in ME
She appreciated my honesty and asked me to provide passports.
Since there were too many stamps she asked me to fill form showing each dates spent outside canada, when I provided her that form she said its better to forward your case to seniors so they can check everything into more details.
I came back to ME and cant go back unless apply for Re entry permit.

Now what if I didnt go for an Interview? will they revoke my PR status or simply just send my PR card back after 180 days and ask me to reapply?

Anyone please!

Thanks
