HI,
Really this is useful thread for all.
I had applied under NOC 4131 and now my e-case status is "Received by VO" from the past 3 months but till now my employer did't get the verification call.
VO received my complete set of docs on 15/5/2010 and sent 2nd AOR on 25/5/2010, one of the buddy in this forum sent the docs on 20/5/2010 and also got a verification call on 1/7/2010.
So i am not sure whether my application passed the verification stage or they are going to do it in the future.
Any idea, when they actually go through the employment verification.
@ lavanyar, Verification by CHC/VO is done post "Received your documents" stage, as I have learnt form the forum's senior members; actually verification starts from the time when your ecas states that it is "in Process". Calls to present and past employers are at random. Hope this answers your query. Bestpal |

Dont be anxious.....you will mess up your chances to succeed.
Phone verification is done by calling the employer followed by the applicant within a short period of time or vice a versa. Sometimes two simultaneous calls occur ...two ppl from cic would call both applicant and employer at the sametime.
They ask questions regarding job duties, performance and anything that was originally written on the reference letters. So, keep your Reference letters handy to cross check.

It is heard that generally verification calls r not made after as long as 16 or 17 months/chance of verification call goes on decreasing as time passes, and after a year or more of docs submission, it is ver very very low. What do seniors say on that, please?

my suggestion wud be, be dam well prepared for dat, they may call any time. one of my friend who was my employee as well, didnt get any verification, she got PR in feb 2011, bt we werent dat lucky, we got a call frm them, nw waiting for medicals. once agn I wud like to submit dat u guyz sud be remebering all the data in the forms, it sud be on ur tips. So, even if they call , it goes smooth. all the best.

Hi, I might be wrong but as long as I understand , during the entire process of our PR at visa office , our files pass through different visa officers. When you submit your documents a locally hired visa officer prepares your paper file ,screen your papers and put on his comments , if he/ she thinks that the documents appear genuine or not. If that is the case then visa officer forward the file with the comments to the higher rank officer that the documents appears genuine then there is very slim chances of giving verification call to the employer but if there is a different comment then there are strong chances of having a verification call. @ gafoor, very wrong. u never know abt dat, they do it on random basic. nothing cud be predicted.

chances are good if u are asked for RPRF/PP and POF etc. which normally the NDVO does all together in one stroke....and once ur RPRF DD is encashed, then u can begin the celebrations !! Best wishes, JUNER 2011 |
