share some informaiton about adding spouse after PNP under process

I want to share some of my informaiton about adding my spouse after my file is processing at bafflo CIC.Maybe will help somebody who has the same situtation.
I got my PNP in June 2010 as single and then I send all my documents to bafflo to get my PR .
I send my file to bafflo in July 2010 and my chq was cashed in Sep 2010. I got medical requirement in feb 2011 and done my medical exam by the end of Feb 2011. In april 2011 I got a mail from the CIC office saying that there is no addition documents required at the monent which I guess my file is under last stage to be make the decision. In May 2011 I got married with my boyfriend in China and he is in China. I notice the CIC office that my marriage stutas has been changed from single to married and send the certification to the office. In june 2011 I got all the additional documents for my husband and send to bafflo office . the mail recevied by the office on June 21 2011. His landing fee was cashed June 27 2011. and he got his medical requirement in July 2011.He had done the medical exam on August 1 2011 and the ottawa received by August 4 2011. August 18 2011 I got both my and his PPR.

If you add your spouse after your file is under processing . it will slow down your processing but it is not bad at all.

Just want to share the timeline with whoever think it helps.

I am very grateful that you shared this information. I am going through exactly same phase and I am confused. I just got married to my wife on Jul 26 and I received medical request on Aug 26. Should I inform buffalo right away about my status change or should I wait until I recieve updated documents from my wife? Moreover, should I go ahead with my medical or return it? Waiting for your reply.

did u have to send proof of relationship other than the marriage certificate?

Me also.. I am confused... I don't know if I will marry him first here in the Phils. or I need to wait for my visa...Under General stream winnipeg Manitoba..ngmedical exam me last august 2011..then waiting for feedback from embassy..but I am worried about my boyfriend how can I get him easily just in case mag issued na cla ng visa for me..pls.. give me some info on what to do..thanks..
