If my immigrant visa be granted, can i possibly rent a single room good for 2 (me and my daughter) upon arrival in winnipeg, manitoba.  How much it actually costs for a  single room that is nearer to business districts or near bus stations for us to find job easily?

You should start by getting a hotel or a motel room and then look for something more permanent.  You can look for rooms or apartments for example here: http://winnipeg.kijiji.ca/ or in newspapers you pick up.
