I can't log in! are you using the Client ID they gave plus your name or your wife's name?
I tried to call CIC to ask for help and the lines are busy.

I just read on the CIC website that because I am applying from Quebec, we don't get access to ecas... so unfair... I don't know if Quebec even has an online system... It's weird though, because Quebec only handles a small portion of the application, which is the CSQ and they review the undertaking form... the rest is done in the VO just like everyone else, so I don't see why I can't have access to track progress at the VO... sometimes I curse being in QC, just makes things more complicated |

I applied to sponsor my wife from Peru. Our application was received in Mississauga on September 9th and I haven't heard anything. I read that some people had their application received after that date and are now approved as a sponsor.
I tried calling the number at CIC but all the the options are automated. How are other people speaking to an agent? Am I calling the correct number 1-888-242-2100.

Welcome to the group! Should I add you to our list? Thats the right number, select 1 (English) or 2 (French), then 2 (Sponsor) then 0 for an agent. You may need to try a few times to get through. Cheers! |

you don't have to select any number. Just wait. The machine will ask you 3 times to make a selection. After the 3rd time it sends you to an operator. Everytime I called I did than and never got disconnected. Welcome to the group! Should I add you to our list?

U will get a letter nothing is worse in this process than being negative so i really hope u get ur letter soon becasue i know thats another step n i wouldnt wish this on anyone |
