Hello All,

I was so desperately waiting for wednesday as CIC will generally update the processing time for step1 every wednesday :-(
Why is that they have not updated it this time any idea?

Since we read couple of posts reading that people who applied on july 21st also got approval I was hoping this time that the processing time will definately decrease.Forget decreasing time, why haven't they updated till now :-(

Yes, that's the problem - you get obsessed with it because it takes so long! On the other hand if cic is supposed to update the processing times on Wednesdays and if they don't do it that can also create anger and confussion among those who check it.

I hope your dream come true Cheesy. Wouldn't it be wonderful if it gets down?

Hi leroadrunner,

At last I submitted my sponsorship application of my husband and son. I posted my application on 26th sept and canada post shows that the document was delivered on sept 28. Could you please add me in the spread sheet. My visa office is Singapore.

hi po... Tanong lang po kung ano po dadalhin pagkukuha ng NBI clearance..and Second po...meron po ako multiple entry visa expiring 2013 pero nasa old passport ko which carries yung maiden name ko. pwede pa po ba yun gamitin or pumunta ng canada with my new passport carrying my husband last name? if yes, pagtinanong po ako sa immigration sabihin ko lang ba on process yung papers ko for immigrant? thanks for your help!

Hi All,

An update regarding July applns. One more person got sponsorship approval for app filed on 22nd July. So hoping that the processing time will be reduced in the already pending update from CIC. So hoping that it will be updated atleast today.

I am also confused about the meaning of sharing information related to education and work experience with prospective employer, what does it mean exactly? Does it mean CIC will put the information in a database which prospective employers can search through for eligible workers? Or does it mean after the applicant gets PR and starts looking for a job, the employer can use the information to do background check?

Anyone else, please let me know you chose "yes" or "no" to the consent and whether a "NO" make sense?
