I sure hope waiting will decrease gradually. I most probably might not make it to send out my applications in September as well. I actually moved from August, then September and now probably have to join the October group. Still waiting for some documents  Sad

Hello everyone!
I've been MIA working on my application we have everything in order and ready to be send out TOMORROW!! omg! I'm excited we are Next Day Air-ing it to Vegreville. But quick question for the group real quick did you all include a "story" about your relationship? I wrote the whole thing about how we met and how the relationship blossomed for our wedding website then ended up not putting the whole story on the site (as it was too long about 2 pages). Do you all think it would behoove me to add this to my packet as well under the Additional information section?
   Thank you!

I didnt write a story i answered what they ask but everyone's app is different so if u felt the story will give the IO a better view then for sure include it its better than them having questions and u kicking urself in the foot so I say go for it especially since its an inland app

The most important thing is to submit complete application and don't worry that it takes so long because at the end what matters is the content of the application, not when you submitted it. I hope you get all the papers together and will submit a very good app! I took almost a year if not more to gather everything that I needed, so waiting for a few months wouldn't make a huge difference for me.

Dear inland applicants, I got some confusion about the new applicantion forms (used after July 18th) and the old ones)
1. On the CIC website, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2011/ob326.asp, it says "Previous versions of PR applications forms will continue to be accepted by CIC until March 31, 2012." However on the inland application form page, it only says applicants are asked to fill in the new form, and doesn't mention whether the old ones are still accepted ( on the federeal skilled worker page, it says the old forms are still valid till March 31, 2011 explicitly), anyone knows whether I still can use the old form till March 31, 2012?

2. At the end of the new IMM0008, it asks for consent from applicant for sharing information related to education and work experience with prospective employer, what does it mean exactly? Does it mean CIC will put the information in a database which prospective employers can search through for eligible workers? Or does it mean after the applicant gets PR and starts looking for a job, the employer can use the information to do background check?

3. Did you choose "yes" or "no"?

4. Since I am thinking to setup my own business, can I choose "no"? Will a "no" answer cause CIC to suspect the truthfulness of the information provided and result a background check (and definitely result a longer wait)?

Use the new forms if you are starting fresh if you already have the old form signed and ready to go submit them

My husband choose yes we didn't read into the question because we felt with the background and security check what else can be done

I dont think a No meand anything they gave u the option to say no as long as it wasn't part of is everything u wrote truth and they buried that under it u are fine

Hi Kedeisha, thank you for your response, but would explain your word in red? I didn't quite get it. Cry
By the way, how about other applicants, did you choose yes or no to give CIC the consent?

What I mean is as an immigrant he has agreed to background and security check which are pretty thorough so we were not worried about giving consent on job search as what he has to go thru to migrate here is pretty intense

Also for the consent we chose yes because of his present position and desired position he is presently in the army and would like to continue in that or policing so if  choosing  yes  would help him when they open back up the international applicants spot in any of those profession if they actually use these forms for that we would take all the help we could get

But my comment was for you know how weird this process is and I woudn't want you to choose no and then it open a can of worms such as you may think you are saying no to sharing your info when in fact no was applicable to the entire page which says any false info could be grounds for removal

Hope my mumbo jumbo made sense

Sooo... I guess my application arrived yesterday, Sept 27

The tracking at the canada post website still says:
2011/09/27   12:32   MISSISSAUGA   Item out for delivery
AM   MISSISSAUGA   Item successfully delivered
11:55   MISSISSAUGA   Item processed at postal facility
09:18   MISSISSAUGA   Item out for delivery

It's so confusing.. it says it was successfully delivered, then it says that it's out for delivery. Make up your mind, canada post!!

So my husband went to the canada post office earlier today, and the supervisor made some calls, told my husband that it has indeed been mailed and signed by sarkovsky. I guess i'll take their words....

Or maybe I'll call them again tomorrow..
