it probably says:
Sponsorship Application Status: Decision made and
Permanent Residence Application Status: in process.
That means, your sponsorship part is approved and your visa office is working on your spouses app for permanent residence.
Yeah, I agree since he's a sponsor "decision made" is for the sponsor approval, "in process" is for pr.

I sent in my passport and Appendix A last Friday, hopefully it doesn't take too long for them to make a decision and send it back with my visa in tow. Will be praying everyday for God's guidance, this will take a lot of patience and optimism!  Smiley I'm just hoping the hard part is over and that I can be with my wife permanently in AB.

I will be praying for everyone here as well, God will provide, this I know for sure. PPR's are gonna come raining down for Septemberians this month.  Grin

Hello,

I received an e-mail from CIC Buffalo this morning:

*********************************************************

UCI:  XXXX
Application No.:  YYYY
Quote these numbers when corresponding with our office.

This is an automated message.  Please DO NOT RESPOND to this message.

Dear ZZZZ,

This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2011/09/02.

When should I contact CIC?
You must notify CIC of any changes to your application. Examples of changes include:
•  Changes in your personal circumstances, such as birth or adoption of a child, a marriage or a divorce
•  Change of contact information (e-mail, mailing address, telephone number)
• Appointment or change of immigration representative or designated individual
• Decision to withdraw your application

<...e-mail truncated...>

*********************************************************

Is this the AOR everyone refers to? (If so, please update the excel sheet with my "AOR received on January 9th 2012" information)

What is significance of AOR, apart from the fact that my application was successfully transferred from CIC Mississauga to CIC Buffalo? Currently, my eCAS statuses show "Decision Made" and "Application Received" for the Sponsorship application and the PR application respectively. Does getting an AOR indicate that my application is being worked on at CIC Buffalo?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
ManyaPR

Yes, this is your AOR. I got exactly same one last week. When was your sponsor approval? By the way, you can come and join us in Buffalo thread.
