Did you send your medical results with your application?
You have to send medical with sponsorship application did u not do this? |

Well you dont have to send the medical, but we did anyway so we dont waste time waiting for them to request it. Its just that on our e-cas it doesnt say "medical received", in fact I dont see any details on my husbands application other than "app received" I dont have his log in info, when I called CIC I only got my UCI, i didnt realize that my husband would also get his own, and i've read somewhere that once the app gets to the VO the sponsored persons e-cas has more info and updates, just want to know if its worth it to call CIC to get my husbands UCI so he can log in and perhaps have more info |

Yes you have to send medical for outland application as its required for inland they get the option as their process is normally longer than the medical validity
But thats what i read in the guide and this has been repeated numerous time that medical are to be send in as thats one of the required documents to send in a copy of your medical receipt

I called CIC this morning, and they told me that the sponsored person gets a file number from the Visa Office, and we won't have that until we are contacted by them... I am confused, I know there are a few people out there that are being sponsored that have access to e-cas, anyone can share how they can access e-cas if you are the person being sponsored?

Oh, I didn't get nothing with an F, I only got my UCI number, and I am able to log in with that. I am a bit confused... but I guess either way it doesnt matter, as I've seen so many people say not to rely on e-cas... you all know how it is though, you just want to see movement any way you can... waiting sucks... Thanks for everyones advise! |

Hello everyone! I'm sorry I've been MIA the past month... I see lot of people have gotten approved congratulations! I am still waiting (inland app) to hear back from the cic. My visitor record expires on the 31st, and I know I'm on "implied status" because I sent in my OWP and PR IMM. I am still nervous though that someone from Border Services is going to come bang my door down on New Years Day and try to get me to leave. As we have no letter of acknowledgement from CIC yet (11-12 months wait now :-( ). However, from what I've read online I need to keep status while my application is pending. They said implied status is fine, but I have no papers or documents to prove this (I have proof of payment and a delivery confirmation). I shouldn't have any problems with people trying to track me down for staying past my record will i....  ? Thanks and Congratulations again everyone! ~TPW |

While I am nervous, I do not wish to leave the country and abandon my application, nor the hard work we put into it. So hopping back over to the States (where I'm from) is not an option for me. I am prepared to show them all the documents I have, knock on wood, if that happens. However, I am trying to avoid any unnecessary snags. Any suggestions anyone? |

I can log on my ecase today. It says they started procssing in December 1. Please pray for me so that I can get some positive news. I am so nervous and can't do anything afterknowing this.

I am the sponsor. I used my UCI number which is in my PR card. Have you called CIC today? |
