Call CIC and ask about your approval. I'm sure you're already approved.
We already called twice yesterday and day before yesterday. The agent said that they have not yet opened our file. We also told that agent that couple of ppl who applied on the same date i.e, 22nd Sept and one Sept 29th applicant also got approved. They agent again repeated the same thing, your file has not been opened yet and wait for a week to 10 days  |

Per my understanding...
(1) The Sponsor can view the online application status for BOTH applications: Sponsorship Application & PR Application.
(2) The PR Applicant, on the other hand, can only view the online application status for his/her PR Application.
Here's the question: Does the following check box apply to each person's login individually?
## "Please remove the ability for me or anyone else to view the status of my application on this Web site."
For example: If the Sponsor chooses to select the above check box and removes his/her ability to view the applications' status online, will that affect the PR Applicant's login as well? Or will the PR Applicant still be able to view the PR Application status normally i.e. the status he/she was able to access in item (2) above?

Hello I am new. I am sponsoring my husband from Costa Rica. I sent our file away on September 21 and it arrived in Missasauga on September23. I have a question when I check Ecas I have inputed my info and no results all I have is the receipt number. It is the Sponsors info they are asking for? We are using the Guatemala visa office.
