On the plus side, you can do some work/study if you choose to while waiting out there, much better than those who applied inland and can do nothing until stage 1 approval which takes about 11 months.

Lol I live 5 mins away from the Canadian embassy in my country they can investigate all they want if I'm really here lol. My husband doesn't want me to work so for his peace of mind and that we don't have to fight all the time I quit my job and stayed home. I feel bad that he's working a lot for the both of us that I can't help, I feel bad whenever he gets sick and I'm not there to take care of him. I don't remember a day I haven't cried because I miss him terribly and I live alone. Cry Cry Cry Cry

I really don't know and what's frustrating is that they issued visa to october and november applicants and they just skipped us. That I just don't understand, they don't follow their first in first out policy. I want so much to go to the embassy to inquire but I'm scared they will hold it against me for following it up and prolong my agony more. What they are doing is torture like they want to play God, not realizing these are people's lives and they are doing a lot of damage by keeping husbands and wives apart for too long.

emrn, jdms1422, sorry for your frustration.  You're still within the normal 9 month Manilla processing timeline, so you can't do much now.  Have you ever thought about ordering GCMS notes to see if there is any complication with your case?  You husbands in Canada can order that for you, C$5.

Yeah I did last feb, they just replied with a generic email. Me and hubby are in the process of ordering CAIPS. Last time we had an error in ordering so were redoing it again. I sent them a letter last feb too about my name on ecas and some correspondence that they lack 1 name so when I checked ecas it's still application received but now they have my name correct, I hope they are processing my papers now and my VISA is on the way it's my hubby's birthday on the 23rd. I really want to be with him, my bags are packed since I sent out my passport lol.

Thanks Balaize. Grin I was thinking of doing that but wouldn't it be odd cus I live in Makati just 5 mins away from cem u think DHL will have the same error, oh well it wont hurt to check right? Thanks for your prayers I really need all the prayer I can get. I live alone and this visa processing is really driving me crazy literally and figuratively lol. My husband is sick and I'm frustrated I can't take care of him so much for being a nurse I can't even take care of my own husband. And I feel bad cus in spite of him being sick he's still working 2 jobs everyday and even on weekends just so that he can provide for the both of us. I just wish I can be with him so I can take care of him and he doesn't need to work twice as hard. Cry Cry Cry
