What info do they need at the call center when I ask about the sponsorship approval? Is it enough to have the receipt number?

They asked me for a bunch of personal information for verification purposes, i.e. sponsors address, name, birthday, how many people are on the application, etc. Stuff the two of you should know. It is to ensure it is the correct person calling. I hope this helps. |

The amount of time is actually calculated from your application received date, which is Sept 22 in your case.

I consider that a bit premature. If you look at the September spreadsheet, you can see that a number of people whose application got received ahead of mine, are still waiting. I just think that GBL2011 is really lucky, and an exception. I'm gonna give it 1 or 2 more weeks before I'm making a phone call. I can wait, it'll come when it comes. But it might be any day now, and that makes me happy! |
