Hi! I'm new to this site, anyone could help me with my queries? I submitted my application last Sept.2011 and reached Nova Scotia on the 14th of Sept.2011. I don't know if it has reached the quota, now my problem is I'm so bothered of the status of my papers since I didn't received any email or letter from embassy. A friend told me that if the papers has problems it will be returned to you after a month, does it mean that my papers safe already since it was never returned? How will I know the status of my papers? Please help! THANKS A LOT, GOD BLESS!

If application has been filed on Sept 2011 then you should have received your PER which is usually sent via email. The PER is sent within 3 mos from date of receipt in CIC NS. Did you apply through a consultant? |

DD is 100% safe as it is like cash. In case of CC it is depends on credit limit that is allowed in a single transaction. S oin my opinion DD is a safer way. |

Hi, This is my first post here. I have been waiting so long for an e-mail from Sydney, and today finally I got my PER  Application received by CIO- 1st of September 2011 Visa Office- Warsaw NOC- 7242 CC charged- 9th of November 2011 Soooo happy Congratulations!!!! It's a great news. Eventually, you've got your PER after 5 months and that's very good. I am also waiting from them to hear. |

I have send all my documents to CIO, Canada.
My documents will reach CIO in three days
I think its a good idea to share the time line for all the the applicants of september 2011.

Hi All! I am glad that this chat was created as I didn't have anybody to share my thoughts. I sent my document in 1.09.2011 and received a reply of CIO 30.11.2011 that my application was approved by CIO and was sent to Moscow VO. I wonder how long may the process last? I read some frustrating quotes in this wed site!!! |

DD is safer than CC 1. they will make two attempts to charge your CC 2. External servers may be blocked by CC authorities to avoid fraudulant transfers from Overseas. 3. the application may be sent back if it occurs, they will not bother much. 4. DD- the encashment of DD is the responsibility of bank, in case of some problem it may take a while but bank MAKES the payment, if DD is Genuine. 5. Encashing DD is job of bank, it may not be so instant. so if u r applying in time, use DD. |
