Seperate Acknowledgement letters for a Family Application?

Hi all,

my wife and i recently applied for our Canadian Citizenship. I paid using my credit and the application for both of us was mailed in one envelope.

An Acknowledgement letter addressed to me was sent however when the application got the stage of availability on CAS, it only shows my wife and not mine. All the standard details i.e. we received your application(s) on XXX day and we sent a letter.... etc all refers to the date i sent the application so i was wondering if they just pick a random person in the application and makes that the primary application with status on CAS.
