Please this is a query from a friend who is not a member of this forum, I will like PMM to throw light on this:

What happens to my friends application should he divorce his wife after approval as been given by CIC to to their application, and he want to know if  DNA test for applicant children is included in the medical examination required.

If one has a new baby what is the time frame to update ones file.

If one has a new baby what is the time frame to update ones file.

1.  If the spouse is not the principle applicant and they separate, the principle must inform the CHC and delete the spouse if they have not landed.
2.  No DNA unless CHC has doubts re: the paternity of the children.
3.  Immediately.

We're blessed with set of  twins back in sptember 06, but till date we have not notify the CHC because their Passport hasn't come out,

Issue being that, firstly their neck were not strong enough to take photograph, now they are about 7month, the long queue at the passport office is putting one off. I have decided to notify CHC with just the Birth Cert. I hope there is no serious penalty for this delay.

Bros congrats, God go Bless them. I think that birth certs are ok. But lets see what  others will say about that. Did you use a lawyer?,if yes, why not ask for his/ her opinion.
