SEP-2011 Applicants

Hi All,

I have been browsing this forum and see that the AUG-2011 applications have reached PPR stage.
I am a SEP-2011 applicant, and request you all to share your application progress timelines.
Holidays are around the corner, and I am wondering if this would delay the processing time for us SEP-2011 applicants.
Any thoughts, please share.

My Timelines are as follows.

CATEGORY        : CEC   
Application Filed : 23-SEP-2011
VISA OFFICE     : CPP-O
AOR                 : 08-NOV-2011
MED REQ           : 08-NOV-2011
MED DONE         : 28-NOV-2011
ECAS Status      : In Process (We have started processing your application on 17-NOV-2011)

Got my passport request at 5.15pm on a nice Wednesday evening by email on December 7, 2011!!! The email was dated December 2, 2011 so I don't know why it took 5 days by email LOL!

Anyways, here is my timeline:

Application Sent: Sept 7, 2011
AOR Received: Oct 21, 2011
Medicals Requested: Oct 21, 2011
Medicals Done: Oct 27, 2011
Medicals Sent by DMP: Nov 3, 2011
Medicals received (on eCAS): Nov 25, 2011
Passport requested (by email): Dec 7, 2011

Sending everything in tomorrow!

I can't thank anyone enough for all their help through this process! I'll be monitoring these forums regularly so I can provide my experience as well!

You are the first applicant of SEP-2011 I came across who has received PPR. Congratulations!!!
Did you get RPRF request along with the PPR?
Did they mention what kind of documents will be required for landing?
Also do let us know if the current eCAS status that shows up for you.

Thanks! If you check the other website (trackitt.com), there are some others from Aug/Sept that have gotten their PPR.
I got the RPRF request for $490.00 also with the PPR.
Nothing is mentioned as to what documents I need to take. I'll most likely call the CIC hotline to ask that question or I think others have posted on this forum as well on trackitt what documents they took, so I'll do the same.

As for my eCAS status it still says: "In Process - Your medicals have been received".

Hey OttawaResident,

I got a quick question for you. I see you've mentioned CPP-Ottawa VO.
Does this mean that you had submitted your case file to Ottawa or was your file transferred to Ottawa by Buffalo office.

Could you please clarify what exactly tells you that your visa office is CPP-O.?

My timelines are somewhat similar to yours, except for the fact that I have submitted file to Buffalo on September 14th 2011. The last status update I saw was 2 weeks back in end of November saying, 'Medical Results have been received"....

Hey torontouser,

I had submitted my file to the Buffalo office. When I got my AOR it came from the Ottawa office saying that my file had been transferred there for faster processing. My medical requests were also from the Ottawa office that I got along with the AOR.

Even my visa issuance letter was issued by the Ottawa office on behalf of the Buffalo office.

Not everyone's is sent to Ottawa. I've heard its for people who live near and around Ottawa, and those with a low-risk screening.

I filed my application in September and am headed to Buffalo tomorrow after getting my passport request on 15th Dec.
My application was also transferred to CPP-O
