Sent my Doc. application to the CIO but I realized I sent the Academic IELTS and

Hello all,

I am new in this forum. We sent our application with all doc. attached in January/2011 to Nova Scotia. But at this moment I realized we sent the Academic IELTS results (we did both because we are doing the assesment process to get the homologation of our University degree and we had to do the Academic besides de General, which is harder by the way), anyway, when they receive our forms they will send it back to us? or  request to send the general IELTS results???  Could I send the general results trusting they will attach to our file? I can´t believe this happen to us.

Could someone answer what to expect or to do?

it should nt be an issued if you send the general test alongwith a cover letter mentioning your file number as well as explaining situation.

You need to send immidiately the General IELTS with a simple explanation letter. They might reject your app. You better act fast.

Oh my God,

I will sent it asap, but how do I find out my file number? I know who has received my documents but that´s all I have...how should I send it so they can identify my file?

No worries. Provide your full name, passport details, date of birth, address... And they will find it.

thanks mezzo. I will do it, I only hope they won´t  reject it before they receive my new results. how could I be so silly??? too much pressure.   Do you think that they probably request it and left my application until they have everything right or just rejected?

I have a 7.5 in my academic!!! GRRRR!!!

Well, unfortunately no. The CIC is so specific about a complete application. They have to receive a complete application to start processing it.

thanks, I will send it,  I just hope they do not loose my results, because as far as you know I have only one original.
