Hi,

Yes you can apply for work visa, student visa or tourist visa. But it is recommended by seniors not to do so as your PR application is already under process and chances are that your visa will be refused or you will have to give a solid reason of why you want to get work visa when PR application is already under process.

Cheers

Yes PR process takes time but it is recommended not to apply for any other visa as it will create questions in visa officer mind. Yes i as well as other seniors recommend not to apply for any other visa and wait till you get your decision on PR application.

By saying decision on PR i mean you get your final decision either apprroved or refused ( hope not) and if its approved then obviously you dont need a work visa but applying work visa now in the middle of another application could really create problems for you. Its upto you i am just advising and immigration does not stop anyone from applying for any other visa during the PR application so choice is yours.

Cheers
